Day 03 : Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m)

After breakfast, transfer to international airport.

Fly about 1.05 hours to Lhasa.

Arrival,receive and transfer to Hotel.

Meals : Welcome drink lunch and Dinner.

Day 04 : Lhasa Sightseeing

Visit the famous Jokhang Temple.

Visit Barkhor Bazar and the famous POTALA PALACE.

Day 05 : Drives to Sigatse: (3800m) - 7 hours

Drive about 271 km.

Visit Sigatse Monastery.

Day 06 : Drive to Saga: (4450m)- 9 hours

Drive about 447 km.

Cross Brahmaputra River.

Day 07 : Drive to Lake Mansarovar: (4560m)- 9 hours

Drive about 478km

Fist Darshan of Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar from HorChiu.

Start Mansarovar Parikrama.

On the way Perform holy Dip & Pooja.

Reach Chiu Gompa for overnight stay.

Day 08 : Mansarovar to Darchen (4560m)

Morning free for Pooja at Lake Mansarovar

After Lunch, drive to Darchen.

Visit Astaparvat for divine Inner View of Kailash Parvat.

Hotel : Kailash Himalaya.

Meals : Bed tea & breakfast and Lunch at Mansarovar & Evening hot Dinner at Darchen.

Day 09 : Darchen to Driaphuk(4890m)

After breakfast, drive to Yamdwar.

First day trek of Kailash Parikrama (Kora).

Walk approx. 13 km within 6 to 7 hours.

One can ride Personal horse/Pony.

Hotel : Sisapangma Driaphuk,

Meals : Bed tea and breakfast at Mansarovar, packed Lunch with fruits and chocolates. Dinner with hot soup and energy drink.

Day 10 : Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk (4790m)

Journey starts early in the morning as possible

Trek to Dolma-La (5,670m) above sea level.

Divine views of Ganeshkund and Gaurikund during the Parikrama.

Hotel : Zhuthulphuk Guesthouse.

Meals : Bed tea & breakfast at Driaphuk, packed Lunch with fruits, chocolates and cookies while trekking. Dinner with hot soup and energy drink.

Day 11 : Zuthulphuk to Mani wall and drive to Saga

Trek about 3 hours to end the Parikrama at Mani Wall.

Drive to Saga via Mansarovar.

Overnight stay at Saga.

Hotel : Saga Inn

Meals : Bed tea & breakfast at Zhuthulphuk, Lunch at Darchen & Evening hot Dinner

Day 12 : Saga to Sigatse

Drive about 447 km

Hotel : Getsar or Similar

Meals : Bed tea & breakfast at Saga, hotcase packed Lunch & Evening hot Dinner.

Day 13 : Sigatse to Lhasa

Drive about 272 km

Hotel : Mansarovar or similar

Meals : Bed tea & breakfast at Sigatse, hotcase packed Lunch & Evening hot Dinner at hotel.

Day 14 : Lhasa to Kathmandu

Transfer to Airport as per your departure schedule.

Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Rest of the day is free.

Booking and Payments

50% of the toal package cost should be paid at least 30 days prior to the tour departure date, the payment can be made by Telex or Bank Transfer into the account Remaining payment should be made within 10 days before departure date of the Yatra.

Risk and Liabilities

We will endeavor to make your journey smooth and as pleasant as possible. However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China and Tibet Tourism Bureau. Therefore, it will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restrictions, land slides, road blockages, flood, snow, and any unforseing types of obstructions, cancellation / delay of flight, delay due to late permit and Visa, illness or accidents. The pilgrims shall have to bear all extra costs incurred, if any above menntioned obstacles arise during the yatra b y themselves.

Document

Passports with a minimum of 6 months validity and two copies of pp size photographs.

Fitness

This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think they are able and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult their doctor prior to embarking on this trip. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.

Food and Beverage

We will serve purely vegetarain delicious continental & Indian meals; Breakfast and Dinner in hotels, served by trained Nepalese staffs. Packed lunch will be provided at the time of Kailash Parikarama.

Clothing and Necessities

As the temperature greatly varies between day and night (from max. 16 degrees Celsius to min. –10 degrees Celsius) one should be prepare accordingly.

Bring the following items with you

Woolen gloves, Monkey cap, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirts & Trekking shoes etc.

Insurance

Comprehensive Travel Insurance coverage for Emergency Medical Evacuation if incase of emergency, loss of belongings, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended.

Cancellation

All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in writing; verbal cancellation will not be accepted. There is no refund for services not used. In addition, the following cancellation rules will be applicable on the balance amount payable.

  • If made within 21 days prior of tour departure date or once travel permit has been applied: 30% cancellation will be charged.
  • If made within 15 days prior of tour departure date: 50% cancellation will be charged.
  • If made within 7 days and less prior of tour departure date: 75% cancellation will be charged.
  • If the case of no show: 100% cancellation will be charged.
