TOUR ITINERARY

As you arrive at the airport/railway station in Bangalore, a Tripplanners representative will be waiting to greet you. From there, embark on a road journey to Mysore, which is a culturally-rich city with enthralling attractions and vibrant lifestyle.

En route, make a stopover at Srirangapatana – a small town near Mysore known for its historical forts and shrines. This town houses the Ranganathaswamy Temple, forts, dungeon, mausoleum and a bird sanctuary. By noon, arrive in Mysore and check-in at the hotel to relax for a while. Thereafter, head to visit the majestic Mysore Palace and the famous Mysore Zoo.

In the evening, explore the Brindavan Gardens, which boasts of well-laid lawns and water fountains. Home to different exotic and ornamental plants, the garden also has a beautiful statue of Goddess Cauvery along with a hydraulic research station and fisheries pond.

After this enriching jaunt, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, leave the hotel and proceed towards the famous hill station of Coorg. With lush greenery and serene environs, this exotic destination is one of the most most-visited places in Karnataka.

On the way to Coorg, visit nearby attractions like Kushal Nagar Golden Temple, Tibetan colony and Nisargadhama. Admire the grandeur of Tibetan Monastery near Kushal Nagar. Explore the Tibetan colony, which is perhaps one of the largest such settlements in the country. Nisargadhama, a small island formed by Kaveri River, is known for its thick foliage and quaint cottages. A visit to this place can be truly rewarding.

After arriving in Coorg, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day in wishful activities. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Drive from Coorg to Ooty (250 km)

Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards the next enchanting destination - Ooty. This destination, located in the state of Tamil Nadu, is popularly called the 'Queen of Hill Stations' in South India. Home to vast tea gardens, beautiful lakes, hilly terrain and serene atmosphere, Ooty is one of the most charming destinations of the country.

Upon arrival in Ooty, check-in at the hotel and retreat to the hotel room. Spend the rest of the day entirely in wishful activities. You may explore the prominent attractions of Ooty, including Nilgiri Mountain Railway, Kamaraj Sagar Dam and Stone House.

After spending a memorable time in this hill station, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 : Sightseeing in Ooty

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, head for a city tour of Ooty. Start the day with a visit to Doddabetta Peak, which is considered to be the highest peak of the Nilgiris. Behold panoramic views of the scenic valley from this majestic peak. Next, proceed to Coonoor, which is a small town near Ooty that boasts of scenic beauty and tranquil environs. Explore the beauty of some of its famous attractions, including Sim's Park and Dolphin's Nose.

After visiting these scenic spots in Coonoor, move towards the two mesmerising attractions of Ooty – Botanical Gardens and Ooty Lake for a wonderful time.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05 : Drive from Ooty to Kodaikanal (260 km)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, depart from the hotel and proceed towards Kodaikanal. A quaint hill station of Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal is famous for its beautiful waterfalls, dense forestation, tranquil environs and lakes, owing to which it has earned the sobriquet of the 'Princess of Hill Stations'.

Upon arrival in Kodaikanal, check-in at the hotel and take rest. The evening is reserved for wishful activities and hence, you may choose to either relax at the hotel or go for a sightseeing trip of this beautiful destination.

Thereafter, retreat to the hotel in the evening and get a good night's sleep.

Day 06 : Sightseeing in Kodaikanal

Soon after breakfast, leave the hotel for a half-day sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal, covering most of its prominent attractions like Bryant's Park, Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rock and Suicide Point.

Begin the tour with a visit to Bryant's Park, which is popular among tourists for its beautiful flowers, including hybrids and grafts. The park encompasses a glass house with different kinds of flowers. During the month of May, a famous flower show is organised here as a part of the summer festival.

Next, explore Coaker's Walk that is a scenic pathway tucked away along the rolling hills near Kodai Lake. It offers fascinating views of the nearby plains and surroundings. Thereafter, head to the other famous tourist pots of Kodaikanal - Pillar Rocks, which is a set of three rocks standing adjacent to each other, and Suicide Point, famous for offering views of its picturesque surroundings.

Later, in the evening, head to the magical Kodai Lake, which sprawls across an area of over 24 hectares. It is an artificial lake created in 1863 by the former Collector of Madurai, Sir Vere Hendry Levinge. This lake is known for offering boating activities and horse rides, along its bank.

Thereafter, retire to the hotel room and get a good night's sleep.

Day 07 : Depart from Madurai

After breakfast, leave for Madurai to board your return flight/train, culminating this memorable journey
